And what cutoff rank is required for admission in
Anna UniversitY?

TANCET i.e Tamil Nadu Common Admission Entrance Test is conducted by Anna University Once in a year for admission to MCA, M.B.A, M.Plan, M.E, M.Tech and M.Arch. This year exam notification not yet released.

MCA Eligibility :-

-> Applicant should have completed Degree course from a recognized University or equivalent qualification.

-> Applicant must have secured at least 50% Marks in aggregate of all papers (45% marks for reserved categories).

-> Final year of degree course may also eligible to apply for this examination.

-> Mathematics as Mandatory subject at Intermediate level.

-> Computer Awareness

If you want to get admission in Anna University then you must secure high in your entrance examination. Cutoff Marks differs from year to year. But if you score 40+ marks in your examination then definitely you have chances to get admission in Anna University.

Direct Second year of MCA is also possible through TANCET Examination. Direct second year is applicable only for B.C.A, B.Sc, B.Sc(IT) candidates.
