The duration is 2 years for Master's degree in Mass Communication and Journalism. You need a Graduation degree with at least 50% marks from a recognized University to become eligible for admission into this course.

There are many reputed colleges in India which conduct their own entrance exam for admission into this course. Therefore, if you have the required qualification then you can surely apply for admission into this course.
