I'm a MSc (Chemistry) with specialisation in organic chemistry from Vidyasagar University in distance learning mode. Also I have complted PGDM(Energy Management) from IISWBM, Kolkata (accredited by AICTE, approved by Calcutta University). Am I eligible to take admission in Mtech in Environmental Engineering in regular and distance mode with or without gate score? If yes what are the best institutes for me to apply for MTech in Environmental Engineering in regular or distance mode with or withour gate score? If I qualify gate exam in chemistry will I be able to apply to NIT, IIT, Birla Institute of Technology, Vellore Institute of Technology, Jadavpur University or any other reputed institute? If yes what is the minimum qualifying marks in gate to take admission in these institutes? Do Jadavpur University conduct MTech in Environmental Engineering in distance mode? If yes, is gate score required for taking admission in this course? Whether Jadavpur University conduct any exam for admission in Mtech in Environmental Engineering in regular or distance mode?

Being a MSc(Chemistry) with organic chemistry specialisation if I want to take admission in Mtech in Environmental Engineering (in distance mode) without gate score what are the best institutes for me? Can you please provide the contact details of the institutes who conduct MTech in Environmental Engineering in regular or distance mode?

If I complete Mtech in Environmental Engineering in distance mode from any institute will I be eligible to apply to state and central goverment jobs like state and pollution control board, Ministry of Environment and Forest, government and private industries, other relevant government and private organisations, reserch organisations etc?

Those who have completed BE/B.tech or equivalent degree from a recognised board with good percentage are eligible .

Many reputed colleges conduct their own entrance exam for admission purpose.

The course can also be persue through distance mode also.
The admission process is same as of regular mode.

Waste water treatment
Environmental chemistry and microbiology
Air and noise pollution control
Environmental system and design lab

Eligibility Criteria - B.E./B.Tech. or equivalent degree with a minimum aggregate score of 60% in graduation.

Admission Process - Entrance Exam followed by counselling rounds and an interview.
