Re: How to become a lecturer in a good college?
°°° To be eligible to be a lecturer one should hold at least a master's degree in any of the relevant subjects with at least 55% marks in it and higher qualifications are always preferred.
Interested candidates have to appear in a UGC NET exam which is held twice a year and pass it. This is the only hurdle to be cleared to be eligible to get a job as a lecturer in a college. After clearing UGC NET exam one is eligible for applying as lecturer in any college affiliated with any of the university recognised by UGC in India. |

If you are aspiring to become a lecturer or professor, you will have to pursue post-graduation in your field of teaching preference.
As you already have it. IT experience is cherry on it. NET is used for applying for Assistant Professorships, Research Fellowships, and both at Indian universities and colleges. After clearing the NET exam, you are eligible to apply for a lecturer job in a good college. |
