dear friend,
to shift yourself in the lecturer's field from the working environment of MBA,you have various options. first of all, since you are an MBA graduate, you can post your application to the various business schools or management colleges, as per their vacancy. for this, you will have to be alert not to miss any of the announcements. well, if you need to join any engineering collges, then moat of such colleges would ask from you a minimum of b.e degree. but i am afraid to say that good reputed engineering colleges would seek an M.E staff. so what i advice you is to wait for vacancies in the business schools and go get recruited yourself there. else, post your resume to the renowned business schools' website for them to consider you better. well, certain colleges may ask some extra qualifications from you. just check them out. well, all the best. God bless you |

To secure a lectureship post you need to first appear for the UGC NET exam. It is compulsory in most institutes. You can also become a lecturer by pursuing a PHd. in field of your interest. By clearing the UGC exam you will be eligible for the 6th pay commission pay scale.

dear friend
To become a lecturer you must have at least a master's degree and you're expected to proceed to P.hD in your lecturing career. But, if you want to become a lecturer in government colleges then you have to pass CSIR UGC NET exams. And in private colleges you have to face interview and fulfill eligiblity creteria. |

To become a good lecturer you first need to complete your M.tech course in a specific field and then later go for P.hD by working as a lecturer in some good private college.
You can even try for UGC NET exam if you want to get selected in as a government lecturer. all the best |

dear friends,
How to Become a Lecturer Unlike the lectures you received from your parents or boss, these lecturers actually receive payment for their expertise. Lecturers in academia are experts in their field, and they have published several journal articles and academic papers. Knowledge and exposure are keys to becoming a speaker on this circuit. Instructions 1. Earn a Masters or PhD. A doctorate is preferable to be a lecturer on the university circuit. You may have more working and life experience than someone who has earned a Masters or doctoral degree, but let's face it-education often equals credibility. Unless you're a bestselling author, apply for enrollment at a university for an advanced degree. * 2 Become an expert in the field in which you wish to lecture. Oprah Winfrey has no advanced degrees other than those that are honorary, but because she's an expert who has set the standard for all other talk shows, she has no problem with credibility when lecturing or giving speeches at commencements. You don't have to become an Oprah, but if you expect to become a lecturer on the university circuit without an advanced degree, you need to make a name for yourself. * 3 Start small. If your church, school, or other organizations need someone to give a talk in your area of expertise, volunteer. Never look at something as being too small. Give your lecture as though you're giving it to a sold-out auditorium. You'll be surprised how quickly the word will spread of how good you are. * 4 Volunteer to give free lectures, if the an organization has little or no budget to pay you. Free gigs often lead to paying gigs. * 5 Join a speakers bureau. all the best............................. |

you can become a good lecture in college -by following these criterias-
Eligibility to be a Lecturer 1. Educational Qualification To be eligible to be a lecturer one should hold at least a Master’s Degree in any of the relevant subject with at least 55% marks in it. Higher qualifications are always preferred. Interested candidate has to appear in UGC-NET exam which is held twice a year and pass it. This is the only hurdle to be cleared to be eligible to get a job as a lecturer In a college. After clearing UGC-NET exam one is eligible for applying as a lecturer in any collage affiliated with any of the university recognised by UGC in India. Clearing of UGC-NET does not gives guarantee of any job it is just a condition to be cleared. One has to individually apply against the post advertised by various colleges from time to time in the mass media. College authorities can appoint a lecture by their own means. They may take a written test followed by an interview to select the deserving candidate or a walk in interview may be the criterion for the selection. Remunerations after becoming a Lecturer There is a lot of scope for those who are joining as a Lecturer in the present scenario. One can get as many as 20,000 per month to start with and go upto 50,000 with experience and promotions. Apart from joining a private or Government College with considerably good salaries one can also go for private tuitions centre and can earn some extra money along with regular job of a lecturer. With the growth of education field making a good carrier is not a tough task for the deserving and hard working persons. Carrier option for a Lecturer Lecturer Reader Assistant Professor Professor Head of the department With higher qualification and one’s own ability in varying fields of education one can go as high as Vice-Chancellor of the University. For becoming a good lecturer one should have very good knowledge and skill about teaching techniques. For these one should try to join the best possible colleges in India. |

Sir you can consider this thought.
But first of all you need to take a firm decision that you sure about changing your field. Next you should approach an institution where you can extend your teaching hand. You have to give interviews to different deans and principals and give them hints about your caliber and that you can be a good lecturer. After that you would definitely get a job of a lecturer. I don't know which type of lecturer you are looking ahead of becoming, like technical or managerial.. Because you have an MBA degree, it would be you + So go ahead. Good luck. Take care |
