How to join MSc in nursing after BSc in Nursing?
I have completed my BSc Nursing and I would like to join in MSc Nursing. I am presently staying in Kerala. I would like to know about all detail about the course.

As you have completed B.Sc nursing, so you are eligible to pursue M.Sc nursing course which is two years long. Before getting admission for M.Sc nursing you have to appear for an entrance examination conducted by All India Institute of Medical Sciences. The admission depends upon the marks secured in the examination or the marks secured during the bachelor's degree followed by personal interview. So, by following these steps you can get admission to pursue M.Sc nursing course.

In order to join M.Sc after the completion of B.Sc course in Nursing, you must have to apply in different Colleges offering the said course. Admission will be based on the marks scored in B.Sc.
Candidates those who have completed their B.Sc in Nursing from a recognised University with a minimum of 50% of marks in it are eligible to opt for the M.Sc course in Nursing. |

Sc. degree in Nursing or the B. Sc. (Hons.) degree in Nursing from any University recognized by Indian Nursing Council. A minimum of 55% aggregate marks is required. |

To join MSc Nursing after BSc Nursing you have to appear in the entrance exam if you want to take admission in government college. The minimum qualification required to appear in this entrance exam is graduation degree in nursing with minimum 50% marks and relaxation of 5% is given to reserved students. You can also get admission in private college on the basis of money. To join MSc nursing you have to take one year experience as a staff nurse in government or private hospital.

Procedure to join in M.Sc Nursing after B.Sc Nursing:-
Eligibility criteria required to get admission in M.Sc Nursing course The candidate should have passed B.Sc nursing or post basic B.Sc nursing or post certificate B.Sc Nursing with at least 55% marks in aggregate from a recognised by Indian Nursing Council. The candidate should have minimum 1 years of work experience after basic B.Sc nursing and minimum 1 year work experience prior or after post basic B.Sc Nursing. the candidate should be a registered nurse and midwife with any state nursing registration council |

Candidates who have completed B.sc in Nursing or it's equivalent degree can join M.Sc in Nursing.
