Sir, Is it possible to change branch from M.Tech Physics to M.Tech Electrical and Communication engineering after clearing GATE? Can you please let me know the steps which I need to follow for the same? Awaiting to get the response soon. Thanks!

The subject in which you have qualified GATE will be considered for M.Tech admission and there is no procedure to change it. The only thing possible is, that you appear for GATE again next year for the subject, which you want to study in M.Tech on the basis of GATE.

Therefore, make sure you opt for the correct subject for GATE exam while applying for application form. Only the given subject will be considered for admission in M.Tech through counselling.
