Normally, the admission for M.Com is based on the entrance exam conducted by the respective university. The M.Com entrance exam syllabus differs from college to college. However, most of the question was asked about the B.Com course. Basically, the entrance exam will be divided into two levels, Part A and Part B.

- Part A Syllabus includes, Cost and Management Accounting, Business Communication, General English and Business Laws, report writing etc.
- Part B Syllabus includes, Financial Accounting, Quantitative Techniques, Business Economics and Industrial Organization and Management etc.
