What is the importance of doing M.Tech in Food Science?


I am planning to do M.Tech in Food Science. But i am not sure about it. So i want to know about the importance of doing this course?

M.tech is master degree in technology. Education required for admission in m.tech program in b.tech with specific field with minimum of 55% marks. Food tech is a growing field in b.tech and m.tech courses. Lots of students are attractive towards food tech. I think b.tech in food tech and m.tech in food tech does not stand any serious gap. Both of them are approximately same. You will get same job after m.tech which you get after b.tech.
But still if students are attracted towards m.tech then there will surly some reasons and these are listed below-
1. You will get promotion soon if you do m.tech
2. You can go in psu companies as gate scorecard now stands for 3 years.
