Can I become Software Engineer in CTS if secured 72% in 10th, 59.40% in 12th and 63.20% till 7th semester of B.Tech(CSE)?


Sir/Mam,
I am Suman Kumar Singh, now pursuing B.Tech with CSE. I have got 72% in 10th, 59.40% in 12th and 63.20% upto my 7th semester. Can I get a job in CTS as a Software Engineer? Please let me know asap.

I am extremely sorry to state that you are not eligible to become software engineer in CTS. This is because the eligibility criteria for CTS is - you should at least 60% in the entire career - 10th, 12th/diploma and B.Tech. Even 59.9 percent will make you ineligible. Since you do not have the required criteria in your 12th standard, so you are not eligible for CTS.

The eligibility for 2016 in CTS is B.E or B.Tech.

The pass percentage is 60% from 10th to graduation.

So it is difficult in your case to attend the interview in CTS but you can try.
