I am kritika jain. I am a private students 12th passed with 55.5% marks. I have also done b.com with hotel management. My question is that can i directly become a Chef in a hotel on the basis of my qualification now?

Yes, you can directly become a Chef in a hotel on the basis of your current qualification. However, the exact designation depends on the hotel you are seeking employment opportunity. For low star hotels, you can become the senior chef or sector main chef while for high star rating hotels, you will be eligible for junior chef. With experience and good service, you can become lead chef. However, this will be applicable if you had done your hotel management with major in Kitchen.

Can i be a chef in good restaurants and go abroad after completing Bsc. Hotel management?
