Can i get job in Power/Steel plant with B.E. (E&T) qualification?

Yes, you can definitely get a job in Power/Steel plant with a qualification of B.E in E&T. However, most of the private power/steel plants visits on-campus to various colleges to recruit freshers. They conduct very less off-campus drive. For PSUs in Power/Steel sector, you need to appear in GATE since most of the PSUs especially the top ones holding Maharatna Status recruit through GATE score while others conduct their own written exam. After written exam, there will be GD (in some companies), interview and medical examination.

Yes definitely you can apply for the job in the Power/Steel plant with your B.E. in the E&T stream.

My suggestion to you is that you should prepare for both technical and non technical section before going for application.

In your entrance exam you may have to face following sections :

** Reasoning

** General awareness.

** Current affairs.

So you should keep your knowledge up to date day after day.

For technical section you must concentrate on your project and training area.

Generally most of the questions are asked from the training and project field.

First of all you must have to qualify the entrance exam and then you have to appear in the interview.

A complete Interview consists of :

** Written test.

** Group discussion

** Technical interview.

** HR interview.

You will get the job in any of the company if you have good communication skill along with good knowledge.
