Is GATE score necessary to get core EEE job? What are the qualifications required?
I had both diploma and engineering in EEE (full time)and I recently passed out. I wanna join EEE related core company. So, for that what is the essential and necessary qualifications? and what are all the EEE core companies? to get core job, is GATE score necessary ?

There are core companies of electrical engineering in private as well as public sector. For jobs in core companies of Electrical engineering like NTPC, BHEL, ONGC, IOCL, NHPC etc, GATE scorecard is necessary. GATE top rankers of their stream have to clear Group Discussion and interview to get final job.
The general academic qualification for job is bachelor's degree from a recognized university. Minimum of 65% marks in bachelor's degree is required. In case of private sector core companies like L&T, Essar, Escorts etc, you will have to clear aptitude round, technical interview and finally HR interview. GATE scorecard will have an upper edge over general candidates. |

Yes, it is necessary to have GATE score to get a core EEE job. Nowadays almost all the core companies are recruiting the candidates based on GATE score and performance in Interview. So, you need to appear in GATE examination and get good score to be eligible to apply for job in core company. If you perform well in the Interview and if your GATE score is good then, easily you can get a job in core EEE company.

Basically GATE score is not necessary to get job core Electrical Engineering companies. But in order to get job in Public sector companies, I am very sure that you need to have good GATE Entrance Examination score.
