Default Re: How to calculate earned leave?

Earned Leave is basically a leave. You will get paid even though you are in Leave. So the leave which has been earned is generally called as Earned leave.Basically this Earned leave not be taken at the times of severance. So before you apply for the Earned leave you must first apply for it.Then after 3 to 4 months you can easily avail the leave which is called as Earned leave.

Generally Earned leaves carry forward to the next year,if you do not use them with in the Particular year.So it is your wish whether to utilize the leave or not.If you utilize the Earned leave then you will be even then get paid even you do not attend for the work.If you do not utilize the Earned leave then you may cash for that day in terms of cash.So that you will be paid in any ways through Earned leave concept.

Earned Leave can be utilizes up to 300 days.In according to the number of days for which the enhancement has been followed along with the LTC. Generally EL on account of the unavailable joined time(number of days admissible can be deducted by the actual number of days availed),they sahll be deposited to the Earned leave account.Remember the credit of the earned leave and the unavailable joining time deposited must not exceed 300 days.

Leave salary is 90 days * Current per day salary.
Earned leave will be paid by the Basic and DA( Basic+DA).So one day EL will be accumulated for every 20 days worked. So it means the minimum attendance is 240 days.To say in terms, the Eaned leave is calculated as ,
Basic / 26 * Number of EL’s.
As per my knowledge the Earned leave calculation is given.Any employee can use this leave, and it must not get expired at the end of the year.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
