i want to know that in telecom sector
can i get assistant post as m an engineer?????

It depends on the nature of the domain that has been assigned to you as well as the job role that you are doing.
So, generally the designation such as engineer or telecom engineer get applied to the employee based on the nature of the role he has been assigned and the role he is doing.

Since, you have not mentioned here about the job role as well as domain in which you are working in telecom. Then it will be little bit difficult for us to tell you about your designation.
Better you can ask your manager about this.

For, example in IT company the person who is working in Infosys might not be an engineer, he can be a BPO employee also.
