Re: Job in Software companies for a candidate who has secured 59.3% in B.Tech?
It's bit of a problem for students to get into the campus placements who have less than 60% of marks in there Graduation because of the MNC companies coming in for campus placement will look for candidate who have more than 60% marks. The common eligibility criteria followed by most of the companies are as follows,
-> 60% above marks in 10th, 12th and UG/PG degree. -> No current backlogs. -> Good technical and communication skills. So, with less than 60% marks you won't be eligible to apply for the MNC companies coming in for the campus placements. Never to worry there are many small scale startup companies available in India who take in candidates based on there skills and talents. So, as you have done some testing tool course find out jobs in companies who take candidates with skills and apply for them to get the job. Yes, you can have a job in software companies if you have less than 60% marks in your B.Tech. But i am very sorry to tell you that most leading companies require minimum 60% marks throughout your academic career.
You can go for so called small companies but there you will have good opportunities to learn some skills and after having some year's experience, you can apply fr big companies |
