Lower division clerk and data entry operator syllabus


Dear Sir/madam Please guide me in studying the above two posts. Exactly which syllabus are required to be taken. Waiting for your reply.

The syllabus for Lower Division Clerk (LDC) and Data Entry Operator (DEO) positions may include:

• General Intelligence: This section may include questions on analogies, similarities and differences, space visualization, spatial orientation, problem-solving, analysis, judgment, decision making, visual memory, discrimination, observation, relationship concepts, arithmetical reasoning, and figural classification.

• English Language: This section may test the candidate's understanding of the English language and may include questions on vocabulary, grammar, sentence structure, synonyms, antonyms, and comprehension passages.


• Numerical Aptitude: This section may test the candidate's ability to work with numbers and may include questions on number systems, decimals, fractions, percentages, ratio and proportion, profit and loss, simple and compound interest, time and work, time and distance, averages, and data interpretation.

• General Awareness: This section may test the candidate's knowledge of current events and may include questions on history, culture, geography, economic scene, general policy, scientific research, and sports.


• Computer Knowledge: This section may test the candidate's knowledge of basic computer operations and may include questions on computer hardware and software, operating systems, MS Office, internet, and email.
