Can you please tell me about the placement
criteria in Infosys? I am in final year of my B.E.
I have secured 59% in 10th, then scored
76% in 12th. Please tell me the placement
criteria for me in Infosys.

Eligibility criteria of Infosys recruitment:-

1)Required percentage of marks throughout the studies for Infosys is 65%
2)You should not have any pending backlogs.
3)Candidates having more than two years gap throughout the studies are not eligible for Infosys recruitment.

The general eligibility criteria for recruitment in Infosys is as below:

For B.Tech, B.E and MCA candidates:

>>65 % in class 10th.

>>65% in class 10+2 or diploma.

>>65% in bachelor's degree or in master's degree in computer applications.

The other condition is that you should not have any active backlogs in your any semester of engineering or technology.

Gap between any stages of education should not be more than two years. For example if you have done 10th in 2011 and 12th in 2014 then you are not eligible for the recruitment drive.

As you have less than 65% marks in class 10th , so you are not eligible to sit Infosys on campus or off campus recruitment drives.

Hello there,

Firstly, let me tell you that for being eligible to sit in the campus drive organized by Infosys you need to have 60% throughout your 10th, 12th and B.E also no matter what stream you belong to or which board you studied at. Also, Infosys generally hire the student from CSE/IT branch. Questions are common related to your B.E subjects only.

Companies like Infosys, TCS and wipro have almost similar eligibility criteria. Some of the major ones that would allow you to have a better prospect of your candidature are as follows-
1)Minimum 60% in graduation.
2) 60% in high school and intermediate.
2) You should not have any backlogs at the time of joining.
4) Some of them also do not consider improvement in intermediate.
5) A basic knowledge of computer languages if you are not of CS,IT branch and thorough knowledge of as much programming languages as you can calibrate with your skills.

So, comparing these with your marks, it is very unfortunate that you cannot apply for the company.

Infosys general criteria for placement is:

Candidate must have throughout 65% in class tenth, 10+2 and bachelor's degree. This criteria is applicable to candidates of B.Tech, MCA and B.E.

You must not have any active pending backlogs in bachelor's degree.

Your % of marks in 10th is less than 65% so you are not eligible for the Infosys on campus or off campus placement drive.

Infosys hire the candidate through off campus as well as on campus recruitment process. So there are basically four Rounds in the recruitment process of the Infosys, they are :

1. Written test (online/offline)
2. Group Discussion.
3. Technical Interview.
4. HR round.

Since, you have secured 59% in your class 10th, so yo uare not eligible for the same.
