hi frannnnnnnnnnns, i got 76%in 10th , 59% in 12th and 70% in btech so can i sit for infosys placement.

The eligibility criteria set by companies for campus placement changes from time to time. It also depends on the college and the number of students appearing for the interview procedure. On basis of the qualification requirements, your academic credentials would be enough to make you face the interview procedure. Usually the candidates are required have more than 50% in all qualifying examinations and should have a consistent academic performance. You will have to check with your college placement office for the latest update for the same.

Only Final year or Pass-out B-TECH ,M-TECH ,MCA degree holder are applicable for INFOSYS .

If you have through out 65% in career then you are applicable for INFOSYS company.Pending Backlog candidate are not eligible for INFOSYS.

Selection process for INFOSYS company-

1)Written Test
2)Technical Test
3)Personal Interview

Sorry to say that you are not eligible for INFOSYS Placement because your 12th standard marks is below 65%.

Hi friend
You didn't told which year u passed out and r u drop out. And is there any back logs in your professional course. Infosys sees all of this. Actually every company has put his criteria of min 60% and more.

Only pass out b.tech, m.tech ana mba holdar are eligible for INFOSYS.

Eligible criteria

Minimum 60% in all classes throughout your education career 10th,12,engg....

The season for campussing and placement for 2012 batch graduates has started to come in the air. It is still quite sometime, but not too early to start preparing. So for many aspirants across the country, it is an anxious wait until they bag their dream job. The current recruitment system for Infosys has quite a few number of rules that are followed besides the traditional technical and HR interview. To start with some study materials, click here.

The eligibility criteria, like most other companies, starts with a cut-off of a 60% on aggregate throughout. That means 60% in class 10 examination, 60% in class 12 examination, and 60% in your graduation degree (in some universities you need to score 6.75 out of 10 to remark it as 60%). Then there are the occasional puzzles and aptitude tests to practice which the best book to buy would definitely be this one. Then there are the puzzle books by Shakuntala Devi. The first part and second part are pretty decent enough for such recruitment drives.

Some of the subjects that needs to be taken care of before you want to appear for the interview process are as follows

1. Database Management: Book by Korth
2. Java Programming: Book by Schildt
3. Networking: Book by Forouzan
4. C Programming: Book by Kanetkar
5. Oracle SQL: Book by Bayross

Dear sir,
Myself Rahul Ranjan, student of B.TECH Civil Engg.I've a different type of problem. I've passed Xth in 2006 with 65% marks and after 2 year of gap that is in 2010, I've passed XIIth with 66% and then regular student of B.TECH. Shall I face any problem in placement?? explain me plz

Since you have only 59% in 12th, you can not apply for Infosys. Because 60% in all academics is the criteria for Infosys.

Not only Infosys, all MNC's and other companies are also maintaining this criteria.

Due to this, you can not apply for campus placements. But there are few companies which will hire without considering 12th class percentage and only with B.Tech percentage.

You can go for those companies. After you worked there for couple of years, you can apply for MNC's.

At fresher level, the rounds that you should attend to get job are
