No, you are not eligible to apply for Bank PO examination because polytechnic is not equivalent to degree qualification. Without completing degree qualification, you are not eligible to apply.

Bank PO Eligibility Criteria:

-You should have completed 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 from a recognized university or equivalent qualification.
-You must have attained the age of 20 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years.
-Age relaxation are applicable for reserved categories.
-No percentage bar are required.

No, it is not possible to give Bank Probationary Officer Examination after completion of Polytechnic or Diploma course. Yes, you are not eligible to give Bank PO Examination with Diploma as an Educational Qualification. The basic educational qualification required to be eligible for giving Bank PO Examinations are "Graduate Degree" or Bachelor Degree from a recognized university. There is no certain minimum percentage is required in order to be eligible. So I suggest you to complete Graduate course after completion of Diploma course in order to be eligible. As B.E/ B.Tech is a Graduate Degree, you are very certainly eligible to appear in Bank PO Recruitments after completion of Graduation.

Sorry, For Bank PO exams graduation is the basic requirement. Polytechnic courses are diploma course. You may pursue an open university degree course in part time and then may appear for bank PO exams. Care should be taken that the University is a recognized and registered one.

No dear it is not possible to write Bank PO Exam with Polytechnic as your qualification since Polytechnic/Diploma is equivalent to 12th level. So with 12th you don't have a chance to apply for Bank PO Exams.

So my request you to first complete graduation there by you will have a chance to get graduation degree. There by you can apply for Bank PO exams.

In India there are almost 50 top bank including both Nationalized and Private banks. So if you want job security you can apply for Nationalized banks so for this you have to give any of the given exams conducted by IBPS or SBI in National level.

To apply for Private you can apply for it through individual notification. And some banks provides internship in their banks it self.
