What is the TCS placement eligibility criteria?
I want to know whether I am eligible for direct HR interview in off campus drive of TCS or not. I have secured 86% in 10th,71% in 12th and cgpa in B.Tech upto 6th semester 8.26. Hope to get your answer soon.

Eligibility Criteria Required to join TCS:
Yes you are eligible to appear in TCS Recruitment process. But remember, TCS does not recruitment candidates directly i.e., by conducting direct HR Interview. So you are required to clear one by one selection process in order to get job in TCS company. The minimum percentage required in Graduation or 10th Class or in 12th Class is "60% marks" from a recognized universities/ institutions. Minimum Percentage Required in 10th Class: 60% marks You have secured: 86% marks Minimum Percentage Required in 12th Class : 60% marks You have secured: 71% marks Minimum Percentage Required in B.E/ B.Tech : 60% marks You have secured: 8.26 (nearly 80% marks) Since you have secured percentages more than what actually is required, I am sure you are certainly eligible to appear in TCS Recruitment process. |

If you are a freshers and you are currently in your bachelor's degree program, then you are not allowed for HR direct face to face interview, why not you have secured 90%+ marks in oyur graduation and other academics.
Policy are policy for each and every company. Only experienced candidates are required or allowed for direct face to face interview. So, you will be treated as Gradute Associate Engineer. |

Yes, definitely you are eligible for the TCS off campus selection procedure. As the minimum eligibility criteria for getting job in TCS is that student must possess throughout 60% in their academics. You have fulfilled this criterion.
>>But the thing is TCS recruit engineering students through off campus procedure. TCS does not call any student of B.Tech for direct HR interview. The selection procedure for off campus consists of online test followed by interview. >>For off campus, student has to fill an online form for the recruitment process and take the test. If he/ she qualify in the online test, then he/she calls for final round of selection i.e interview. |

I am extremely sorry to state that you are not eligible for direct HR interview with the portfolio which you bear. This is because :-
- The direct entry to interview round is only applicable for on-campus drives. - The aggregate CGPA required for it is usually 8.5 in B.Tech which is also raised for certain colleges and universities upto 8.7 CGPA. |

No, you won't get such treatment as fresher. You have to crack the written examination followed by Technical Interview. After experienced, you will directly call for the HR Interview and Technical Interview. Written examination will be exempted.

TCS is one of the leading company in India. It's very good that you have selected a very nice company. But you must have these following criteria
Eligibility criteria for TCS : 1. minimum 60% marks is required throughout your career. 2. you must not have any pending backlogs 3. you should not have study gap of more than 2 years. 4. make sure you have good communication skill. |

If you are interested in TCS, you should have these eligibility criteria
1. At least 60% marks in your 10th, 12th standard and in graduation 2. No active backlogs 3. They allow 2 years of study gap at most 4. Good communication skill If you have all these you are eligible for TCS Process for TCS : 1. Aptitude Test 2. HR Interview 3. Technical Interview |
