Why the placement salary is so poor at IHM College Taratola Kolkata compared to government institutes?

Sir, IHM College, Taratola, Kolkata, is a Govt Institute. Then, why the placement salary is so poor in comparison with job getting from other Govt Institutes say Govt. Engineering Colleges, IIM, Medical Institutes?

As a result of which, students are not getting interested in taking admission in Hospitality management in IHM Colleges.

The salary offered to graduates from IHM College, Taratola, Kolkata, may be influenced by various factors such as the demand for hospitality professionals in the job market, the reputation of the college, the skills and experience of the graduates, and the overall economic conditions.

It's important to note that the hospitality industry is highly competitive, and salaries may vary widely depending on the specific job role, organization, and location. Additionally, the pandemic has also adversely affected the hospitality industry, leading to a decline in job opportunities and salaries.

However, it's also worth noting that salary is not the only factor to consider when choosing a career or a college. The hospitality industry offers a wide range of exciting and challenging career opportunities, and graduates from IHM College may have access to many other benefits such as networking opportunities, industry exposure, and hands-on training.

Moreover, it's essential to view education as an investment in one's future, and the returns may not always be immediate or monetary. Graduates from IHM College can develop valuable transferable skills such as communication, teamwork, leadership, and problem-solving, which are highly valued by employers across various industries.

In summary, while the salary offered to graduates from IHM College may be comparatively lower than other government colleges, it's important to consider other factors such as the reputation of the college, career opportunities, and acquisition of transferable skills before making a decision about pursuing a career in hospitality management.
