Annamalai University has a range of courses to offer, one such course being M.Sc. in Botany. The course duration is two years. There are many subjects spanning the two years of course duration. In the second year of the course, the paper of “Cell Biology, Genetics, Plant Breeding, Evolutionary Biology and Biometry” is there. The paper is of three hours and 100 marks. The paper is divided into three sections. The first section has eight questions, each of three marks. The second section has 6 sections, each of 6 marks and the last section consists of two essay type questions, each carrying 20 marks. There is a specified word limit of answers in each of the sections. Students should stick to the word limit specified.
