Among the courses offered by Annamalai University, M.Sc. in Botany is one. The duration of the course is two years. The exam of “Cell Biology, Genetics, Plant Breeding, Evolutionary Biology and Biometry” is of three hours time duration. There are three sections in the paper, and the maximum marks are 100. The first section is of 24 marks. There are eight questions in this section, each of three marks. These questions are to be answered in 50 words. All the questions are to be attempted in this section.

Section B has six questions of six marks each. Students have to answer these questions in maximum 300 words. Choices are there in this section.

Section C has essay type questions. Two questions are to be answered in this section, each in about 1200 words. Each question is of 20 marks. This section also have choices.
