It includes numbers and measurement (arithmetic operations, approximation, estimation, fractions and decimals, concepts and length measurement, area, volume), space & shape (symmetry, pattern, properties of 2D and 3D objects), algebra (pattern of numbers, linear equations, mathematical investigations and puzzles), practical arithmetic and data handling (collection, representation and interpretation, elementary statistical techniques, timetables, flow charts, %, ratio and proportion, interest, discount, tax)

Paper Pattern: Candidate will be provided with a question paper containing 4 sections A, B, C and D. Sec-A consists of 11 questions and all should be answered. Each question carries 1 mark and they are very short answer questions. Sec-B, C, D consists of 3 questions each out of which any two should be answered from each section. Each of them carries 4 marks.

Key Points: Many of the questions are logic and aptitude based. Time management is important.
