Primary curriculum and instruction as the name suggests is a certificate exam rather subject for teachers who wish to teach in primary schools. It is conducted by many universities and IGNOU is one of them. The Foundation in Subjects paper has to be passed with flying colors to be certified as a primary teacher. The paper has 70% weight age and has to be done within 3 hours maximum. There are four compulsory questions with equal marks but all carry internal choice of 5 questions from where one does 4. They are from topics like mass, weight, electricity or rather physics and even mixture and compounds as in chemistry. Al\l questions have equal weightage and so one must answer each question well. Being a teacher is not easy and you need to have all round knowledge to satiate the curiosity of your wards or pupils. So, one must score well in this test.
