IGNOU, Certificate in Teaching of English, CTE-4, Teaching English (Elementary School) Paper is a subjective paper which is designed to enhance the reading, writing and teaching skills of the candidates. It also helps the students to enhance the understanding of their learners and improve their teaching skill. Questions on different writing skill e. g. notes writing, unseen passages are asked every year. The paper consists of 6-7 questions from which the candidates have to answer only 5 questions. Each question is of 20 marks. Maximum marks in this paper are 100 and time allotted for it is 2 hours.
