Paper Pattern: Question Paper is divided into two sections A and B. Section - A consists of 4 questions which are further sub divided. It carries 32 marks in total and no choice is provided. Section - B consists of 4 questions carrying 18 each and sub divided. Out of 4, 2 should be answered. One or two questions in section A will be comprehensive type.

Time and Maximum marks: Duration of exam is 2 hours 15 minutes and the maximum marks are 80.

Key Points: Section A should be answered on the same paper itself. They include one word answers, definitions. Section B should be answered in answer sheet. Cell cycle, reproductive cycles, plasmids, ecology, plant adaptations should be emphasized.
