The Biology paper has been divided into two parts as Botany and Zoology. Each part of the paper is further divided into four parts as Section A, Section B, Section C and Section D.

The total time duration of the examination for this paper is of three hours and the maximum marks that could be secured in this paper are 150.

Paper Pattern:

The medium of the paper is English and Tamil. The question paper is divided into two parts as Botany and Zoology. The total mark contained by this paper is 150. Each part of the paper carries a total of 75 marks. The question paper contains all types of questions as objective ones, short notes and long answer type questions. There are four sections in both of the paper. Section A of these papers carries a total of 14 marks. Section B of both the papers is of 21 marks. Section C of the paper contains a maximum of 20 marks. Section D of the paper also carries 20 marks.
