The paper is one of the 12 elective papers that are offered to the candidates by Karnataka Public Service Commission. The candidates have to answer two elective papers. The paper is divided into two sections and both the sections consist of descriptive questions. There are no short answer type questions in the paper and every answer need to satisfy a particular word count in accordance to the question. The exam is competitive and there is no option of choosing questions. All the questions need to be answered. Time allotted for finishing the paper is 3 hours. It is good to know the paper pattern with the aid of previous year question papers.
