Karnataka Public Service Commission is a well known service examination in India and offers a large number of vacancies every year. The examination is differentiated into three different parts. Candidates have to qualify each part of this examination in order to achieve their aim. The first part is prelims in which candidates have to mark the correct answers. The qualifying candidates can therefore sit for the 2nd part that is main examination which is of 300 marks and is further divided in four sections. The marks distributed in these four sections are mentioned as 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th is 20, 100, 90 and 90.
