The Electric Circuit Analysis paper is a mandatory paper for Electrical Engineering students as they have to familiarize with the Electrical circuits as they will be working on the same after the completion of their course. The paper has kept three parts. The very first part consists of 10 questions and is of 1 mark each. Part 2 consists of 5 questions of 3 marks each. Part 3 consists of 5 questions of 15 marks each. Each question consists of two parts and you have the choice to answer any one. Some of the topics covered are voltage current characteristics, conductance, relation between line and phase voltage, mutual induction, Superposition theorem, Norton’s theorem, RLC circuit, Thevenins voltage, transient current, time constant of various network, Millmans Theorem, Q factor, damping in RLC circuit, 3 omega power, impedence, power factor, apparent power, active power and reactive power. There are questions on numerical where a circuit diagram is given and you need to calculate the current, resistance, voltage and so on.
