Electromechanical Energy Conversion Paper is meant for students pursuing electrical engineering from Kurukshetra University. The questions given are extremely varied and are concentrated on the skills of the pupils. The question carry 20 marks each and there are many questions to choose from but one must do 5 questions overall by selecting atleast one question from each unit.100 marks are what you get for this paper and it should be answered within 3 hours. Some questions from the paper which are asked most of the time are about magnetic materials in electric machines, test of circuit parameters for a transformer and energy as well as force in an excited magnetic field scenario. There are questions on expression for created e.m.f in any d.c. generator as well as torque in 3 phase conductor. One must be adept at all such topics in order to do well. Thus knowing all about the subject is vital. Below are attached some of the previous year’s question papers.
