Madurai Kamaraj University came into being in the year 1966 with the aim of setting up an example for the education system by blending the positive traits of ancient and modern teaching. This has led to the formation of an efficient educational institution which is not only a renowned place but also an esteemed and respected centre of knowledge. Social psychology, a branch of Sociology, is a course included in the curriculum laid down for MA exams here. This course takes pride in the influences that society has over behaviour of people. By society, everything that forms society is considered. It has a scientific way of investigating social variables and the effects of the variables on the reactions of people. It has a scientific outlook due to which the investigations are empirically conducted and the conclusions are logically drawn. The subject seeks to explain the implications of the relationship between the psychological and sociological variables that are measurable statistically. 10 questions are there in this paper with only 50 % to be answered and all having same weightage of 20 marks.
