Mangalore University BA in Sociology First Sem- Principles of Sociology Paper carries a maximum of 120 marks, which is divided into Section A, Section B and Section C. Section A has 10 questions to be answered in 2-3 sentences and each question holding 2 marks. Thus, this section has 20 marks. Section B has 7 questions of 5 marks and one need to attempt 5 questions and write every question in about 12-15 sentences. This section has 40 marks (8 marks *5). The last or Section C has 6 questions and one to attempt 4 questions and write 20-25 sentences on each. This section has 60 marks (15 marks * 4).
