It includes linear algebraic equations, crammer rule, elimination methods, iteration methods, interpolation and approximation by lagrange, newton, Integration and numerical differentiation, ordinary differential equations involving single step and multi-step methods and problems based on differential equations.

Paper Pattern: Question Paper is divided into two parts A and B. Part A is compulsory and it consists of one question with many sub questions and carries 10 marks. Part B consists of 8 questions out of which 5 should be answered and each question carries 10 marks. The questions are sub-divided and given unit wise 2 from each unit as per the prescribed syllabus.

Time and Maximum marks: Time allotted to complete the paper is 180 minutes. Total marks for the exam is 60.

Key Points: Scientific calculator is allowed. Matrices, problems on ordinary differential equations mostly should be well interpreted and practiced. Formulae should be clearly mentioned and step wise calculation will give a better look to the paper.
