Finite elements analysis is a part of the course covered in the seventh semester of the colleges under the administration of Mumbai University. It is a mathematical approach of deriving a tentative solution to partial differential equations. It is also a technique to find out integral equations. Mechanical engineering focuses on the dynamics of the mechanical systems and this particular course helps students to analyse parts of machines and their functioning with the help of mathematical inductions.
