The National Eligibility Test is held by the University Grants Commission. Education is one of the subjects in the exam. There are two papers of the subject-Paper II and Paper III. Paper III of the paper is a conventional exam of 200 marks. The time duration of the test is two hours. The paper is divided in four sections. Section I and II have 5 marks questions with a word limit of 30 words. Section III has 5 long answer type questions, each carrying 12 marks. These questions have a word limit of 200 words. The last section consists of an essay type question. This question is of 40 marks and has to be answered in 1200 words at maximum.
