The National Eligibility Test or NET is the test conducted by the University Grants Commission, for testing the eligibility of candidates for lectureship and Junior Research Fellowship. The test is conducted in various subjects, including Humanities and languages. Psychology is one of the subjects in which the candidates take this test. There are two papers on the test. Paper II has all multiple choice type questions. There are 50 questions in the paper. The total marks of the paper are 100, with each question carrying 2 marks. The time given for the paper is one hour and fifteen minutes. The questions can be of true/false type, matching types or assertion-reason types.
