It includes samhitas and their importance, types (narada brihat), remedies for diseases, planets, stars (characteristics of people born in those stars), methods of prediction, graha doshams, pariharams, omens (auspicious and inauspicious), water veins and desert regions, gems and suggestions, eclipses and their effects, palmistry (signs and importance), tranquilities, dreams and their varieties, principles and practice of duties, physiognomy, pregnancy.

Paper Pattern: There are two sections in the paper and each of them have six questions, out of which candidates need to answer any 4. First sections carry 15 marks for each of the questions, whereas section 2 carries 10 marks each.

Time allotted and Maximum Marks: As it is quite evident from the paper pattern section, total marks for the paper is 100 and time fixed for the same is 3 hours.

Key Points: Many of the topics like samhitas, gems, dreams, auspicious and inauspicious omens, star and the people’s characteristics are being repeated invariably. Answering in a point wise manner will give good aesthetic appearance to your paper.
