The Component Based Technology papers involve different technical processes that are applicable in different fields for the use of instruments. In this paper you get to know about the study of systematic errors and principles of the varied kinds of available technology and the important components. Other than this, the students will also have to show practical application of the instruments that are most frequently used. There will be two groups and the marks will be equally distributed. It is important to go through the paper properly before attempting any question. There will be various topics to choose from but the most common topics are on the major components of CRT, pulse modification and active filters. This is significantly different from the electrical engineering paper. Both theoretical and practical questions will be part of this paper. It is important to look at the marks distribution as well before attempting. The component based technology paper has a specific syllabus that students are advised to go through before preparing. The paper has 10 objective questions with total weightage of 20 marks and 10 subjective questions (5 questions having 5 alternatives) with total weightage of 80 marks.
