The basic goal of the post graduate training in prosthodontics and crown & bridge is to ensure high degree of competence in both general and special interested area and prepare the student for his future career. The candidate should achieve high degree of clinical proficiency in the subject and develop higher concepts in learning. The subject describes etiology, pathophysiology and principle diagnosis and management of general problems in kids and also adults. Basic science related to biology and anatomy of dental issues, complete denture prosthodontics, partial denture prosthodontics is discussed thoroughly in the subject. Removable prosthodontics including removable, fixed, maxillofacial and implantology is also discussed in the paper. The subject is basic for BDS course and it is really attached to the daily life cases. So if grabbed well, you can score high in the subject. Previously the paper had 20 marks for MCQs and 80 marks for long questions, then it had 20 marks and 10 marks questions, but now it has only 10 marks questions.
