The economics prelims paper of the civil services is of three hours. The total no. of questions in this paper is 120 and the maximum marks that could be secured in this paper are 300. All the questions contain equal marks. There are total 4 options in each question of which only one is correct. There is negative marking for each incorrect answer attempted. One third of the mark of that question would be deducted if attempted wrongly. Multiple answering will also be considered as wrong answer; however no marks will be deducted if it is left.
