Civil Services Examination is one of the toughest exams in India and is conducted throughout the length and breadth of India by the Union Public Service Commission of India. One of the paper in which prelims is conducted is History. The paper has a maximum of three hundred marks and has one hundred and twenty questions. Each carries a maximum of two and a half marks and carries a negative marking of one-third. All of the questions offered in the exam are of Objective Types and carries a maximum of four options, out of candidates have to attempt any one. The time duration for the paper is two hours. Those questions left un-attempted are offered zero marks. Below are attached some of the previous years question papers.
