I am studying in 12th in PSEB board. Can i give Air Force entrance exam during studying in 12th class? Please help.

Yes, you can give entrance examination of Air Force while studying in class 12th. But, you can join Indian Air Force after the completion of class 12th only.

Requirements to join Indian Air Force after class 12th with Science stream:

The candidate should pass class 12th from a recognized Board in Science stream with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subject.

The candidate's age must be in between 16.5 to 19 years.

The candidate must be an unmarried male.

The candidate should be a citizen of India.

The candidate should be physically fit as per the requirements.

The minimum height of the candidate should be of 160 cm.

The eye sight of the candidate must be 6/6 without glasses.

If you satisfy all the above, then you can easily join Indian Air Force after your class 12th.

If your 12th standard subjects are Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics then you are eligible for Indian Air Force through NDA exam.

NDA stands for National Defence Service exam. NDA Examination is conducted for 3 wings-Indian Air Force, Indian Navy and Indian Army.

The candidate's who have completed the 12th standard from a recognized board or equivalent exam are eligible for NDA exam. Final year of 12th standard candidate are eligible for NDA exam.

Your age should be in between to 16.5 years to 19.5 years. There is no age relaxation for SC/ST candidates.

No, you are not eligible to give Air Force examination while studying 12th standard. To be eligible to apply for Air Force examination, the candidate must have completed 12th standard or equivalent with Mathematics and Physics subjects from a recognised board. To apply for Air Force, you need to appear in NDA examination by satisfying the below mentioned eligibility criteria :-

1. You must be a citizen of India.

2. You must have attained the minimum age of 16 1/2 years and must not have crossed the maximum age of 19 years.

3. You must have completed 12th standard or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics subjects from a recognised board.

4. You must be an Unmarried Male candidate

5. You must be Physically fit as per physical standards mentioned in the UPSC NDA examination notification.

UPSC conducts National Defence Academy and Naval Academy examination every year for the recruitment of candidate's into Army, Navy and Air Force.

The minimum eligibility criteria for applying in NDA is that the candidate must have passed class 12 examination or the candidate who is appearing in class 12 or its equivalent examination conducted from a recognized board of education.

Also there is another examination named Air force common admission test (AFCAT). The minimum eligibility criteria for applying AFCAT is that the candidate must have passed graduation in flying branch from a recognized college.

**After passing 12th grade you will be able to give air force exam basis of NDA examination.
