Cutoff percentage required in 12th AHSEC to appear in AIIMS MBBS entrance exam?
Hello Sir,
I am in 12th standard now with AHSEC Board studying Science stream with PCB Group. I want to give AIIMS MBBS entrance exam. Kindly tell me how much percentage is eligible for this entrance exam in 12th in AHSEC Board? |

Candidate must have secured minimum 60% marks in 12th class with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English.
There is relaxation of 10% to SC/St candidates. Age of candidate must be above 17 years on 31st December of the year of admission. |

Yes, you are eligible to appear for AIIMS examination conducted by AIIMS every year for admission in MBBS course.
The eligibility to appear for examination is :- Candidate must have passed or pursuing 10+2 from the recognised board. Candidate must have 60% aggregate in PCB and English for general category and relaxation for SC/ST. Candidate's age must be minimum 17 years as on 31st December of year of appearing for examination. So, you are eligible to appear for examination. The examination is conducted online. The application form for examination will be available on www.aiimsexam.org. |

To be eligible to appear in AIIMS MBBS entrance examination, you must have completed 12th standard with Biology, Physics, Chemistry and English subjects with minimum aggregate of 60% (50% for SC/ST) marks from a recognised board. You should have attained or will attain the age of 17 years as on 31st December of the year of admission. Since, you are pursuing 12th standard right now, I suggest you to score more than 60% aggregate marks, so, that you are eligible to appear in AIIMS MBBS entrance examination.

MBBS stands for Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery and is a five year course after 10+2.
Yes, you are eligible to appear for MBBS examination conducted by AIIMS. The eligibility to appear for examination is :- Candidate must have passed or pursuing 10+2 from recognised board. Candidate must have PCB and English as main paper in 10+2. Candidate's age must be above 17 years as on 31st December of year of appearing for examination. So, you are eligible to appear for examination. The examination contains 200 questions 60 from each of Physics, Chemistry and Biology and 20 from Current Affairs. AIIMS stands for All Indian Institute of Medical Science. The eligibility criteria for AIIMS MBBS entrance exam is that candidate must have completed or appearing for 10+2 board examination from any recognized board either state boards or central board. Minimum percentage of marks is 60% for general and OBC candidates in 10+2 and 50% for candidates of SC/ST category.
You must have taken subjects like Physics, Chemistry and Biology in 10+2. The minimum age to appear for board exams is 17 years on 31st December of year of examination. |
