Eligibility for appearing in CA-CPT test after B.com from Madras University through correspondence and regular schooling upto 10th standard?


Hi,
My son is a B.Com graduate from The Madras University through correspondence. He has done regular schooling upto 10th standard and passed. Is he eligible to register and appear for CA-CPT test?

You can surely go for Chartered Accountancy course after completing your B.Com.

Common Proficiency Course usually known as CPT or CPC is an Entry Level Course in Chartered Accountancy Course.

Chartered Accountancy course has 3 stages.

1. Common Proficiency Test (CPT)

2. Integrated Professional Competancy Test (IPPC)

3. Final Course

Eligibility

A candidate must have completed their 12th in any discipline from recognize Board.

For taking admission in Good Universities A candidate must have score at least 60% in their
12th examination, marks may be vary with universities to universities.

A candidate must have to apply for CPT entrance exami and also have to crack it with Good score.
