Dear sir,
Past out senior secondary (12 equivalent)science stream from NIOS with six subjects Math. Physics, Chem. Bio. Eng. And psychology. First of all I want to know that am I eligible for first year B.Sc. degree? NIOS certificate of 12 science stream is valid in VNSG University? I will be obliged to you for your kind reply.

NIOS board stands for National Institute of Open schooling and it is recognized board as other boards like CBSE, ICSE etc are recognized.

Eligibility criteria:

Applicant must have done 12th with medical stream from recognized university with at least 50% marks and 45% for reserved categories.

Age limit should be in between 17-25 years whereas relaxation is provided to reserved categories in upper age limit as per rules.

You need to full application form of admission which are filled in the month of june 2016.

A candidate who have completed their +2 from NIOS are eligible to do B.Sc degree as 12th is compulsory for B.Sc degree .It does not matter whether you have completed your +2 from NIOS.As NIOS is equivalent to CBSE,ICSE.

Yes, the NIOS certificate is valid and recognized.

The candidates who have obtained pass certificate from NIOS board is valid and recognized by government of India. The certificate is recognized and equivalent to other national and state board of education.

You can apply for B.Sc degree after passing class 12 from NIOS board.

After completion of 12th standard from NIOS, you can apply for B.Sc course.

Those candidates who have completed 12th standard with PCMB are eligible for B.Sc course.

Your age should be above 16 years.

Yes, you are eligible to get admission in Bachelor of Science course.

The eligibility to get admission in course is candidate must have passed 10+2 from recognised board and stream in 10+2 must be as there choice in B.Sc.

Most of the UGC recognized universities accept NIOS certificate for admission in degree courses. Just you have to clear the entrance exam or cut off to get admission.

It depends on the university and most of them give admission based on marks in class 12th. Some even conduct entrance exam for admission. Hence, if you are in merit then NIOS is not an obstacle.

Sir I have completed 10 2 in 2014 & now I want to compleat my BSC through NIOS so now my question is am i elegable to clear my BSC through NIOS.

NIOS Exams are like any other board exam. So, if you pass out through NIOS, it does not limit your career option, provided, you score required marks in 12th and qualify the competitive exams and interviews..... then you can be any one you dream about.
