Eligibility for post assistant exam after qualifying 12th with 54%?
I want to give the exam of postal assistant exam. I have qualified 10+2 exam with 54%. I am from general category whether I am eligible for the exam? Please let me know.

Eligibility for Postal Assistant Exam:
A candidate must have done 12th from recognized board with English as compulsory subject. A candidate has to apply for the test in state language. Age 18-25 years. Knowledge of basic computer skills is also required and typing speed in Hindi 30 words per second and 25 words in English. |

Yes, you are eligible to appear for postal assistant examination. To get job you have to appear and qualify in CHSLE ( Combined Higher Secondary Level Examination ) conducted by SSC every year.
The eligibility to appear for examination is :- Candidate must have passed 10+2 from any recognised board. Candidate age must be between 18-28 years with relaxation in age for reserved category. So, you are eligible to appear for examination. The application form for examination is released in month of July. For more information about examination visit at http://www.ssc.nic.in |

Eligibility Criteria Required for Postal Assistant Post:
I am very happy to say that there is no certain minimum percentage is required in order to be eligible for appearing in Postal Assistant Examination. Since there is no percentage criteria required, you are certainly eligible to apply for Postal Assistant Post. Here are the minimum eligibility criteria asked for Postal Assistant or Sorting Assistant Post. Educational Qualification Required: >> 12th Class in 10+2 pattern from a recognized university or Board of School Education or Board of Secondary Education with English subject as a Compulsory subject. >> You must have studied in Local language of the state of the concerned postal circle (or) in Hindi as a subject minimum in 10th Class level. Age Criteria: * Minimum - 18 years * Maximum Age - 27 years |

SSC conducts Combined Higher Secondary Level examination for recruitment of candidates on government jobs.
So, you are eligible to appear for Postal Assistant examination which is conducted by SSC. The eligibility to appear for examination is candidate must have passed 10+2 from any recognised board and age between 18-27 years with relaxation in age for OBC and SC/ST candidate. Yes, 12th pass in any stream can apply for India post assistant exam. You just need above 50% marks in your class 12th exam to become eligible for this exam.
Selection will be based on the performance in the written exam and skill test. Therefore, be prepared for it. |

Below, I have mentioned the basic eligibility requirement for Postal Assistant exam, kindly have a look at it;
> Candidates should have completed 18 years of age at the time of application. > Candidate's age should not exceed the age of 28 years. > Candidate should have secured a minimum of 60% at their +2 level. |
