I am from ICSE Board studying in 8th standard. I am weak in English Literature. After my 8th exam I will go to 9th standard. So, tell me about the syllabus of English Literature of 9th standard in ICSE Board. Tell me asap.

Class IX ICSE English is divided into 2 groups- English Literature and English Language. The English Literature part consists of Drama, Prose and Poetry. The list includes-

The Inch Cape Rock

This is the whole list of texts, schools choose the texts from this list based on their preferences. The paper will be of 80 marks and 20 marks from internal assessment. You will be asked to answer 5 questions from at least 3 text books- 1 drama, 1 prose and 1 poetry. If you work on your weaker sections by practising more grammar, reading other English texts, gradually you will gain confidence. Regular practice is essential.
